The Farm

+ Christmas Trees
In 1967 we planted our first Christmas trees on the farm and we've been growing them ever since. We propagate the Norway Spruce (abies picea) with its traditional shape and plenty of branches for hanging decorations, and the Nordsman (abies nordsmanea) popular for its excellent needle retention properties.

Depending on the variety it takes between 6 to 10 years for the trees to reach a height of around 7 feet (2.1 metres). After each harvest we're sure to replant with new saplings to ensure a steady supply for many generations to come.

Our Christmas trees will be on sale from early December - make sure you visit us early to get the pick of the bunch!
