Bloom Gin

Bloom Gin is a premium London Dry Gin from Greenall’s distillery, one of the oldest distilleries in Britain, which is based very near to us in Warrington. The distillery was established in 1761 by Thomas Dakin who had identified a gap in the market for superior gin. The company continued to be successfully managed by the Dakin family for over a century and acquired a fantastic reputation for premium spirits. The Dakin’s leased the distillery to Gilbert and John Greenall in 1860, who then purchased the distillery outright 10 years later, and thus Greenall is a name that has become synonymous with quality gin.

Bloom is infused with many botanicals, in particular chamomile, honeysuckle and pomelo which capture the uplifting sense of Spring gardens. These botanicals create a delicate floral balance; the honeysuckle provides natural sweetness and warms up the chamomile, while the pomelo offers a sun-drenched citrus note to perfectly balance the gin. The makers recommend serving Bloom in a balloon glass which helps to deliver all the aromas to the nose, plus a garnish of fresh strawberries to enhance the floral flavour profile of the gin.
