MEET THE TEAM – AMY JOWETT

I started in November 2010, now I’m full time in The Barn. I started as a Saturday girl, working mainly in the Farm Shop and I worked in the Christmas Barn (pre 2012 new barn) and then the Butchers for a little bit (I didn’t last very long in there). I love being in The Barn, it’s really lovely to help someone pick the perfect present, help them find something to brighten their home or just having a chat and a giggle about the cards with customers. It’s difficult picking a favourite, The Barn has so many lovely products and the shop has lots of tasty treats.

My favourite is the grey ‘Annabelle’ suede Estella Bartlett bracelet as it is elegant and goes with everything; it’s very simple but just perfect. The range consists of silver beads with a little splash of colour or sparkle; I think that’s why I love it so much (I own about 6 of their pieces, could easily be more, but I’ve had to restrain my self). The whole range of jewellery is priced at under £20, making it OK to treat yourself to or as a present! I can’t wait for their Christmas range, we got to see a sneak preview at Harrogate in July and it all looked very exciting.
