About us

Since 1959 our family has grown and sold farm produce from The Hollies. Albeit in the early years, our vegetables were simply displayed by the garden gate with an honesty box for customers who helped themselves from the roadside.

With each generation the shop has expanded, from the farmhouse to a small timber framed shop in the 1970's, to our current building, following the demolition of the piggery in the 1980's.

Our farm now almost exclusively grows the specialist crops of pumpkins and gourds. In the autumn these are displayed next to the shop and are available for purchase.

As a family business you'll often find us all hard at work; Dad looking after the farm and the nursery, Mum looking after the flowers and us busy serving in the shops. To support us we have a great team, all highly skilled, happy to help and with an extensive knowledge of all the products we have on offer to tackle your every query.

Our aim is to make your shopping experience most pleasurable - whether it be a range of samples to tempt your taste buds in the shops or whether it be a seamless, customer focussed on line service. Either way we hope you enjoy The Hollies experience.

From the Autumn 2007, The Hollies shopping experience went on line. Over 800 products from our shops now also appear on line.

All products will be picked by one of The Hollies team and personally packed and prepared for you, then delivered to the door. The hamper team will be busily putting together The Hollies collection of hampers or creating your choice of adhoc hamper.
