Bank holiday weekend BBQ

As soon as the sun shines, we think BBQ, especially as there has been so little sun! So we have been busy thinking about what to put together for a BBQ later today and thought we’d share our thoughts, in case you were thinking along these lines too. Menu items from the BBQ The Hollies welsh grill burger on a freshly baked bread roll, with crisp iceberg lettuce, melted emmanental, Mrs Darlington’s mayonnaise and Tracklements sweet mustard ketchup. Succulent sticky onion sausages dipped in some extra Tracklements sticky onion marmalade. Fillet steaks sizzled for 3-4 minutes on each side, served with fresh spinach and grilled cherry tomatoes with a little Bay Tree smoked chipotle bbq sauce. Fresh local asparagus chargrilled, served with rock salt and a splash of Seggiano aged balsamic vinegar. Slow cooked bourbon bbq ribs. Sides of Hollies homemade coleslaw and Hollies homemade potato salad Glass of chilled Penny Lane Sauvignon Blanc or a cocktail of Sloe Motion vodka mixed with Belvoir Elderflower Presse Let’s get the BBQ started!
