2. STANWAYS PIES

Family bakers since 1962, they supply The Hollies Farm Shop with a delicious range of pork pies, fresh every day.

3. GREKA

‘Greka’ was born out of love for Greece, its land and its produce. Beginning with Grandmother Sofia in Greece who would create tomatoes sauces, jams and pasta, the recipes have been passed down the family tree, finally retailing in 2016. Their products are handmade and celebrate tradition with a modern twist, whilst embracing the quality principles of the Greek Mediterranean diet. Based in Nantwich.

4. HAUGHTON HONEY

Haughton Honey was started by a bee farmer from Cheshire who thought that honey had become a bit boring and unexciting and wanted to make it fun again. It is 100% pure and raw English honey, straight from the hive, as nature intended.

5. WILLINGTON FRUIT FARM

Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, Willington Fruit Farm is a family run business and Farm Shop established since 1950. A wide variety of top quality fruit are available in season, home pressed apple juice & Winsors Cheshire dry cider.

In August they begin our apple season with James Grieve, followed by fifteen other varieties ready picked from their local Cheshire orchards.

7. PECKFORTON HILLS

Peckforton Hills Spring Water; specialise in locally sourced ‘Cheshire’ water.
We are committed to serving our Customers with the highest possible quality products.
We offer a wide range of delicious bottled spring water of outstanding quality from 550ml plastic bottles to both 330ml and 750ml in glass (all available in both still and sparkling).

Peckforton Hills spring water is targeted to be sold in Cheshire in order to reduce the environmental impact of our water.

8. CHESHIRE FARM ICE CREAM

Produced on their Tattenhall farm, Cheshire Farm’s award winning Real Dairy Ice Cream is made using fresh whole milk and fresh cream, and only the finest ingredients are carefully selected.

9. TIRESFORD FARM YOGHURTS

First generation family farmers based on the outskirts of Tarporley. In 2004 they set up Tiresford Guernsey Gold with the intention to provide the best cheese that they could, and show off the top quality milk of their award winning herd of pedigree Guernsey cows. Now supply The Hollies with yoghurt.

10. BONGO’S ROCK AND ROLL PICKLES, NORLEY

Bongo brings you his original recipe Chilli Condiments, handmade at home in Cheshire. Rock & Roll drummer Manny and his wife actress Deborah Bouchard have taken their passion for chillies to a whole new level. We are pleased to stock their Chillimanjaro, Millimanjaro, ChilliJAMjaro and the X-Scream Chilli Crush, which are just the opening bars of their new chilli business. Do you dare to try them?

11. WEETWOOD ALE

A small local brewery situated just outside the country village of Tarporley producing quality and distinctive cask conditioned beers to suit the most discerning of palates.

12. RDW WINES

Suppliers of fabulous wines, spirits and oils to The Hollies. Established in 1972 by Rodney and Margie Densem, who had been successfully importing personally selected classical French wines for their Cheshire country house hotel; the company has won several accolades over the years.

13. MORNFLAKE CEREALS

Suppliers of delicious cereals and oats to The Hollies. At Mornflake They”ve been milling oats in the South Cheshire countryside since 1675, making them longest established miller of oats and cereal in the UK! 15 generations later, they are still independently owned and managed by the direct descendants of the original miller, William Lea.

14. COACH HOUSE BREWERY

Coach House Brewery was established in 1991 continuing a brewing presence in Warrington that began in 1762. Specialising in cask and bottled ales, Coach House has achieved considerable success at the Great British Beer Festival and in the SIBA North Region Beer Competition winning Gold for our Gunpowder Mild plus our Blueberry Classic Bitter was awarded “Best Speciality Beer” in the country 2011.

15. MRS DARLINGTON’S

The Mrs Darlington’s story began over 30 years ago, where a surplus of eggs from the family farm in Cheshire led Marion Darlington to make a small batch of her homemade (and now Legendary) Lemon Curd, to sell to local shops. The shelves were soon empty, and retailers began to ask whether Marion might consider selling her other homemade jams and chutneys too. Soon the farmhouse was just too small and in 1985 farm buildings were converted into a new kitchen. Since then Mrs Darlington’s Preserves has just kept growing and growing, yet this still family run business remain true to their original aim – to craft delicious products with a truly homemade taste.

We are very proud to have been supplying the Hollies for over 25 years.

18. JO’S CHESHIRE KITCHEN

Based in Altrincham, Jo supplies a delicious, homemade sticky toffee pudding to The Hollies at Lower Stretton.

19. CHESHIRE SMOKEHOUSE

As both Speciality Food Shop and national branded producer, The Smokehouse is an oasis of quality and taste in a world of blandness and uniformity. What really makes The Smokehouse different is that most of the products you see and eat – even their fantastic smoked nuts – are made on the premises, with all the expertise and attention to detail you’d expect.

In the spacious and hygienic preparation areas of The Smokehouse, salmon is salted and smoked; meats cured and sliced. Elsewhere, the smoke stoves are filled with sweet-smelling chippings of maple and oak which impart the distinctive taste to Cheshire Smokehouse products.

20. FOREST GIN

Forest Gin is distilled in small batches at a family distillery next to Macclesfield Forest. Husband and Wife team, Lindsay and Karl Bond are in charge of the still, the bottling, the management plus all sales and shipping. Their aim was to produce the best tasting gin they possibly could, from the finest locally sourced ingredients. They forage in Macclesfield Forest for ingredients such as wild bilberries, gorse flowers, raspberries and local moss with the help of their young daughter Hattie. With the carefully selected botanicals they use, it brings us a gin packed full of flavours; a herbaceous taste, a little fruit and floral notes on top.

From Antrobus, Poplar’s Farm supplies free range eggs to The Hollies, Lower Stretton.

22. JO’S CAKES

From Acton Bridge, Northwich. Jo and Rob have been supplying The Hollies Farm Shops with cakes and pies since February 2009.  They provide a local, quality product which is home-made. Our customers love Jo’s Cakes!

23. CHESHIRE HONEY

Mayflower apiaries run over 400 honeybee colonies throughout North Cheshire.

Cheshire Honey and beeswax products are produced thanks to the hard work of  millions of worker bees and the two bee keepers of course! The end product from over 30,000 loads of nectar 1lb of pure liquid gold!!

Creator of delicious locally baked homemade cakes.

25. CHESHIRE CHIPS

The Jackson family have been growing and farming Cheshire potatoes for four generations. Situated under Helsby Hill in Cheshire, the farm supplies it’s famous Cheshire potatoes across the region.  Fifteen years ago, Paul Jackson and his wife Wendy decided to sell their now famous ‘Cheshire Farm Chips’. Using top quality chipping potatoes grown on their farm, the chips are cut within hours of being dug from the field. The result is an additive-free traditional, fresh tasting chip.

27. JJ COWAP

Cousin to Richard, John Cowap supplies seasonal potatoes and vegetables to The Hollies, from his farm, next door to our Little Budworth store.

28. HUNTERS GIN

Produced in Cheshire, Hunters Cheshire Gin is a top-quality spirit that is produced by re-distilling neutral spirit with natural botanicals such as juniper berries, citrus peel and coriander seeds – all heated in a still.

29. CHESHIRE CHUTNEY

Suppliers of delicious chutneys and preserves to the Hollies. Following requests from customers at Nick & Jill’s café for homemade Jam and Chutney used on the menu, they decided to produce a range available for customers to buy. Cheshire Chutney Co was born.

30. ALISON’S HOMEMADE, SANDBACH 

Delicious locally made chutneys, fruit cordials and preserves. Alison’s strawberry, raspberry and blueberry jam is a firm favourite or ours, and we are proud to serve it to accompany our scones in the Coffee Shop.

31. CHESHIRE CHEESE COMPANY

The Cheshire Cheese Company has created a unique and fantastic range of contemporary, some say “eccentric” Cheeses for everyone to enjoy. They are accredited VegSoc Approved by the Vegetarian Society and combine the finest of ingredients carefully balanced and perfected to produce unimaginable flavour combinations. All of their range of cheese has been produced in the heart of Cheshire.

David has been supplying The Hollies with homegrown plants and plant baskets for more than 10 years.  David grows and nurtures his stock in Holmes Chapel.

36. LIVERPOOL GIN – LIVERPOOL

Liverpool’s bustling docks have for centuries welcomed many of the botanicals and grain spirit that now combine to create this unique gin. Ingredients such as the finest coriander, angelica, citrus and handpicked juniper berries result in a gin with a well-balanced nose, complex flavours and a long finish.

the gift of oil was started by Phil Bianchi in 2001. He fell in love with the Mediterranean way of life after working with a large olive oil company based in Athens, and created a range of his own oils when he got back home.

45. DEER PARK VENISON

An Autumn favourite is our prime, locally farmed Red Deer Venison which is available at our Butchers. Sausages, casserole, mince, joints and steaks are available. Recommended recipes from our supplier are available in store and personally we love a venison casserole, full of flavour and warming on those cold evenings; a few spoonfuls of redcurrant jelly added in compliments the venison perfectly.

For 8 generations the Woodall family has been innovating using traditional curing and smoking methods to produce delicious British Charcuterie. Today they still continue to use the family’s original British recipes and skills mastered since 1828. They carefully select and butcher perfect cuts of British pork, creating a unique range of air-dried hams and salami.

Once upon a time on a drawing board somewhere in the Manchester suburbs an idea began to create beautiful greetings cards. 15 years later and with a sparkly team of expert designers and painters on board, they supply us with some lovely greetings cards available in The Barn.

Family run dairy established in 1950 by the late Bernard Briscoe. Based in Tarvin.

52. MANCHESTER THREE RIVERS GIN

“Before the cotton, the coal and the canals, there were three rivers…” Hand crafted in small batches in Manchester’s first ever city centre Gin distillery.

53. OPIHR GIN

Oriental Spiced Gin inspired by the ancient Spice Route. Distilled at G&J Distillery in Warrington.

54. TIGER SHROPSHIRE GIN

Hand crafted by artisan mast distillers, using traditional methods in a copperpot with the best quality grain alcohol and pure English water.

55. MANCHESTER GIN

Inspired by the city it is made in, this gin is distilled using carefully selected botanicals including Northern favourites, dandelion and burdock root. A key feature in the logo in Manchester’s Motif; the Worker Bee.

57. GRINS GIN

The story behind the name of the gin is loosely based on the Cheshire Cat that grins in Lewis Carrol’s Classic, Alice in Wonderland. Grins is distilled using locally sourced Peckforton Spring Water, Cheshire blueberries, cassia bark, lemon peel, nutmeg, cinnamon, sweet orange peel, cucumber and of course, juniper.

Grins is a very smooth gin with a perfect blend of citrus and spice, hints of cucumber and blueberries, which culminates in a well balanced flavour.

58. POWELL’S TEA & COFFEE MERCHANT

Supplier of coffee and tea to The Hollies.  Beans imported and roasted in Manchester.

59. PATCHWORK PATE

The Carter family have supplied their delicious range of pates to The Hollies for over a decade.  They have won over 80 taste awards, cooking their pâté in small batches from their kitchens in Ruthin, using 25 different types of alcohol in their range, without artificial additives, preservatives or colourings.

60. WHITLEY NEILL GIN

Whitley Neill Gin is a handcrafted gin inspired by Africa and crafted locally to us in Liverpool. It is distilled in small batches by Johnny Neill, a direct descendant of Thomas Greenhall, bringing together 8 generations of expertise.

61. SECOND SON GIN

Second Son Gin is distilled by John Whitlow locally to us at the Second Sons Distillery at The Tigers Head in Norley, Cheshire. By only making batches of 32 bottles they are truly a micro-distillery; in fact they are currently the UK’s smallest commercial licensed gin distillery!
