Our Cheese of the Month this November is Beemster Aged, a rich Dutch cheese made from pasteurised cow’s milk. The cows are fed far away from any of the industrial area in the salty North Sea meadow. Beemster Aged is a type of gourmet Gouda that is matured for over 18 months on traditional wooden boards in historic cheese warehouses. This cheese has a spicy, strong yet well balanced flavour.
Try Beemster with dates, smoked almonds, red grapes and red wine; delicious!
