Gin of the Month

Monday, December 16th, 2019

Drinking a dry gin is just the same as doing dry January, right?

For our January ‘Gin of the Month’ we have chosen Chase GB Extra Dry Gin. The Chase family grow, ferment, distill and bottle their gin on their farm in Herefordshire. With 250 Herefordshire potatoes in each bottle.

GB Chase Gin is made by copper pot distilling Chase Potato Vodka with juniper buds, berries and 9 other wild botanicals. Coriander seed, bitter almond, cinnamon bark, ginger, cloves, angelica root, liquorice root, lemon peel kibbles and cardamom create this distinctive flavour.

Chase recommend serving your G&T with ice and a slice of root ginger.

You can create a delicious Bramble cocktail with this Gin; add 40ml of Chase GB Gin, 15ml fresh lemon juice, 15ml sugar syrup and garnish with blackberries and a slice of ginger.

Tasting notes;

Chase Extra Dry Gin has zesty citrus and warm spice notes on the nose. On the palate a juniper, dark chocolate and lemon taste, with a full bodied and robust finish.
