School’s out for summer

Tuesday, June 24th, 2014

As the weather warms up, we all start to think of our holidays and eating on the terrace of the local taverna, sipping a chilled glass of sauvignon, a cheeky little cocktail or a refreshing G&T, whilst devouring a delicious dish of your favourite tapas or nibbles.  If travelling thousands of miles to Greece, Spain and beyond is not an option currently, you could try the next best thing; The Hollies Farm Shop’s Coffee Shops.

Both Coffee Shops offer an outdoor seating area, where you can soak up the summer warmth whilst enjoying a Summer Punch with a greek salad at the Coffee Shop, Little Budworth.  From breakfast until twilight you can bask on the terrace at the Coffee Shop at Little Budworth, watching the world go by.

Choose from refreshing smoothies and frappes, such as the most popular Raspberry & Apple smoothie (currently Phil’s favourite) or the Good Morning Cheshire, a smoothie with a blend of fruits, honey, muesli and ice cold milk.  All available at Little Budworth. The Peach, Pineapple & Mango or the Blueberry & Banana smoothies are big hits at Lower Stretton.

If you’re visitng The Hollies at Lower Stretton, why not try a glass of Villa Domizano prosecco with the Fish Platter; fresh salmon, white crab meat, prawns and fresh poached salmon, served with a side salad, lemon & dill mayonnaise and a warmed multigrain roll?

At Lower Stretton you can now enjoy the afternoon tea special, available from 3pm.  Delicious homemade sandwiches, fresh mixed salad & Tyrell’s vegetable crisps and a scone sensation & homemade cakes. Please book 24 hours in advance on 01925 732706.

Whilst school’s out for the summer, why not enjoy a little bit of al fresco dining on the freshest, tastiest ingredients from our Farm Shops, prepared by our lovely team of Chefs?  Choose between our Coffee Shops, both offering you something a little different, but both served with the passion and enthusiasm of our fabulous Hollies family.
