From Sunday 25th January until the 31st all are encouraged to Shake up their Wake up! Run on behalf of arable farmers, Breakfast Week raise awareness of the benefits of eating a healthy breakfast and demonstrate the wealth of wonderful breakfast produce available around the country, encouraging us to think about where our breakfast foods come from and support the cereal farmers who produce it.
To break your fast, enjoy lots of scrumptious fresh produce such as fresh fruits, breads and pastries, locally milled oats, milk supplied directly from the farm in Congleton, local jams, curds & honeys and freshly squeezed orange juice from The Hollies.
This year to celebrate Breakfast Week, The Hollies at Lower Stretton have put together a daily special for breakfast. Delicious choices will be between homemade American style pancakes with blueberry compote, homemade chive potato cakes with The Hollies treacle cured bacon, smoked salmon bagels or an omelette with mushroom & The Hollies treacle cured bacon. (Each day will offer a different special). Enjoy one of these specials from Sunday 25th January until 31st Janaury 2015.
